Cadan Resources (CXD:TSXV) is a junior gold producer on Mindanao Island  in the Philippines.   ResCap became involved as a strategic funding partner on the back of a turnaround story executed by a new management team with a sharp focus on cost containment and operational efficiency.  The plant has recently  experienced its best performance and utilisation in it’s history and continues to build on its social licence in the community leading to new exploration and development targets being offered.

Manuka Resources Limited (unlisted) was formed and initially acquired by ResCap to hold the assets of the Manuka silver mine south of Cobar.  ResCap intends on completing additional feasibility studies to better understand the immense silver and base metals potential of the tenements and how to better design and configure the existing plant to treat the full range of ores on site.  Previous operations indicate a change of flowsheet is required as well as a re-interpretation of all resource modelling and classification of ore lithology’s.  The mine will restart operations once these studies have been satisfactorily closed out. 

Mt Boppy Resources Pty Ltd (private) was formed by ResCap to own and operate the historic Mt Boppy gold resource east of Cobar.  This resource will be mined and processed as an open cut operation whilst continuing to define the underground potential and regional exploration targets on the extensive tenement package for precious and base metals.  The mining operation at Mt Boppy will have a competitive cost structure and make use of current ore sorting technology to reject non mineralised waste from the mill feed, thereby reducing processing and handling costs per unit of recovered gold.  ResCap is open to novel processing technologies and not stymied by conventional thinking on asset development.
